"Boxes" were created so that you can easily add a little distinction to your website sidebar. You can create as many as you want all you need to do is add one (1) "Rich Text" pagelet and then right click to edit the Raw HTML then just add the "Boxes" snippet that comes with the "My Life" design.
As you can see we have added a second "box" to the sidebar however we are still using the same "Rich Text" pagelet.
